I have a 7-month-old at home. I gained a whole lot of weight after the baby. My motivation was to get healthy and get my weight where it was supposed to be. One day, I saw a ZP book in the break room. I downloaded the app and read the stories — it was really inspiring. ZP Challenge really helped me and got me motivated. I’m walking and doing sit ups. I’ve got a cardio bike that I ride for 30 minutes. When I can’t go to the gym, I go to the park and push my baby in the stroller. Cooking more helps me save money and eat healthy too. The weight is coming off and I feel a whole lot better. I feel like I’ve accomplished something. ZP inspired me to get this weight off and be more positive.
• Since starting ZP, I’ve lost 25 pounds.
• I exercise at least three times a week.
• By eating more at home, I’m saving about $200 a month.
• Now I can spend more time with family — I have so much more energy!
My battle with weight really started with eating sweets. I have a sweet tooth. Cake was my weakness. I’m in fresh production so I do a lot of cooking and baking. It’s hard being around so many cakes and pies. It’s a challenge to stay on the right path but ZP keeps me motivated. Now I don’t eat any sweets. I’m eating much healthier and feeling better. I’m drinking lemon water and cucumber water. It really has a lot of flavor and it helps with burning off the weight. I usually make a salad at home with tomato, cucumber and vinegar. I cut out fried chicken and added broccoli, string beans and corn to my meals. I was so shocked and excited to win ZP Challenge. When you work hard and get rewarded for something, it feels great. Keep going and don’t give up.
