I got started with ZP because I was feeling discouraged with how I looked in the mirror and was tired of being short of breath while working. I read the stories and decided that I was going to give it a try. I’ve learned that you have to make diet changes a habit so they are a normal part of your life. ZP helped me do that, and those changes are certainly a part of my regular day now. My weight has dropped from almost 200 pounds down to 174. I got teary-eyed when I realized my clothes were getting too big and I saw how much weight I’d lost. I’m conquering what I once thought was impossible! But my biggest motivation for staying healthy is my granddaughter. I want to set a good example for her.
• After losing 25 pounds, I’ve gone from a size 18 to a 12.
• For extra steps, I walk my dogs for an hour every day before work.
• I replaced sweets with fruits or vegetables for healthy snacking.
• Sunday dinner with my extended family keeps us all close.
Before changing my diet, I was eating all kinds of bad foods. You name it, if it was fried, I’d eat it. I also loved pasta and adding extra cheese to my food. Now I’m checking nutritional info, have cut my carbs and have given up red meat and fried foods. I’m eating more white meats and will broil or bake them to be healthier. I love eating salads these days. Drinking more water every day and not eating late at night has helped me too. On my day off from work, I go work out at the gym for two full hours. I feel great these days. My self-esteem is at an all-time high! I hope others will join in with ZP and see what it can do for them too.
